Your decision to register for Guitar Workshop Plus (GWP) constitutes your acknowledgement of and consent to all of the registration, payment and cancellation terms and conditions listed below.
Payment
Applications will be accepted on a first-come first-serve basis space permitting. You may register online, via email, fax or mail us your completed application form. All applications must be accompanied by payment in order to be processed.
Payment Policy: Payment in full is preferred and may be made by credit card, check, or money order.
Paying by credit card: The full tuition amount will be charged when the application is received. We accept Visa and MasterCard.
For summer sessions:
Paying by check or money order: For those students paying by check or money order, a convenient installment plan is available as follows:
- A minimum non-refundable deposit of 50% of total charges (including all options) per session will be accepted with the application form. The remaining balance shall be due in two equal payments on or before April 1 and May 1.
- Subject to space availability, applications will still be accepted after May 1, however, the full tuition fee must accompany the application form.
PLEASE NOTE: All credit card registrations are charged the full tuition amount. If paying by check, please mail full payment or a non-refundable deposit of 50% of total charges (including all options) per session and post dated installment checks along with your application. Outstanding balances not paid by May 1 are subject to a late fee. Upon receipt of a signed notice of cancellation in writing before April 1, total payment received minus the non-refundable deposit will be refunded. Cancellation notices will only be accepted via registered mail or courier. After April 1, all fees are non-refundable.
For winter session:
Paying by check or money order: For those students paying by check or money order, a convenient installment plan is available as follows:
- A minimum non-refundable deposit of 50% of total charges (including all options) per session will be accepted with the application form. The remaining balance shall be due on or before January 1, 2023.
- Subject to space availability, applications will still be accepted after Jan 1, however, the full tuition fee must accompany the application form.
PLEASE NOTE: All credit card registrations are charged the full tuition amount in US dollars. If paying by check, please mail full payment or a non-refundable deposit of 50% of total charges (including all options) per session and post dated installment checks along with your application. Outstanding balances not paid by Jan 1 are subject to a late fee. All payments are final and non-refundable.
Cancellations
All payments and deposits are per the terms and conditions stated above.
Where for unforeseen condition, natural disaster, pandemic or epidemic, illness, war, government restriction, threat to public safety, or Act of God, the workshop is postponed, any fees paid will be credited toward the re-scheduled or future session dates. The credited amount may be used for the specific event to be rescheduled and shall last two years from the dates of postponement. Guitar Workshop Plus Inc reserves the right to re-schedule any event due to circumstances beyond GWP’s control and registration refunds will not be distributed. This also applies to any registrant who may not be able to attend an event due to the Covid pandemic and/or Force Majeure.
Registration & Student Policies
To maximize the enjoyment of the session for all participants and to create a friendly and creative atmosphere, a certain code of conduct must be followed. Students who violate the stated rules and regulations or whose behaviour jeopardizes the enjoyment and safety of other participants will be dismissed from the program without refund of tuition. Illegal drugs and alcohol are not permitted on campus. Possession or use of these substances results in immediate dismissal from the program without refund of tuition. Students must provide their own instrument and are responsible for their personal belongings and equipment. Guitar Workshop Plus Inc will not be held responsible for these items.
Participants in the program may be photographed or video recorded during class or performances for use in promo material or our website. Guitar Workshop Plus Inc reserves all rights with regard to use and reproduction of said photos and videos taken during GWP events. Participants agree to release such material to GWP without compensation.
Regardless of age, all participants must complete a health form before they can be admitted into the program. Should a medical situation arise or if there are any pre-existing or current medical conditions that we should be aware of, we must have this information on file. Please note, however, that we are not a special needs program. All medical expenses are the responsibility of the student or their parent/guardian. Guitar Workshop Plus Inc will not be held responsible for the cost of any medicine or medical services.
Guitar Workshop Plus Inc, at it’s discretion, reserves the right to refuse or reject a sale, deny admission to the program or remove from an event, any person for any reason, including, but not limited to, any harm or potential harm that person might cause, violation of the law, threats, disorderly behavior, failure to make timely payment, illegal activity, or for any other reason that is not prohibited by law.
Guitar Workshop Plus Inc strongly suggests purchasing travel insurance due to the nature of our events and cancellation policies.
Liability Release
I hereby release Guitar Workshop Plus Inc., and all associated entities including its owners, directors, managers, employees, sponsors, and vendors, from all claims, liabilities, loss to property, damages, injuries, etc. arising out of or in connection with my purchase and/or participation in any aspect of a GWP event.
Indemnification
In the event that anyone brings a claim against us related to your use of the GWP website or your violation of these terms, you agree to indemnify, defend and hold us and our affiliated companies, event providers, suppliers, advertisers and sponsors, and each of our officers, directors, employees, and agents, harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, losses and expenses of any kind including reasonable legal fees and costs. We reserve the right to take exclusive control and defense of any claim, and you will cooperate fully with us in asserting any available defenses.
